Applying for Credit

When you apply for credit, the lender will review three main factors to decide whether you are a good credit risk and if you will be able to pay back the loan.

  1. Capacity is your present and future ability to meet your
    payments.
  2. Capital is your savings and other assets, which can be
    used as collateral for loans.
  3. Character means how you have paid your bills or debts
    in the past.

You can request a FREE credit report every 12 months from Annual Credit Request Service
(1-877-322- 8228 or www.annualcreditreport.com).

Unlike those commercials you see on TV about free credit reports,
the Annual Credit Request Service has no gimmicks or memberships to join.
